This health check (listed as item 715 on the Medicare Benefits Schedule) is designed especially for Indigenous people. The aim of the health checks is to provide Indigenous people with primary health care matched to their needs by supporting early detection, diagnosis and intervention for common and treatable conditions. Rosedale Community Health Centre is located in the Rosedale Multipurpose Centre in Cansick Street. It is open 9am until 4pm Monday to Friday. Services include a Community Health Nurse, a visiting General Practitioner, home nursing, maternal and child health, podiatry, alcohol and drug counselling and social worker. A Planned Activity Group operates regularly.
