Statewide Victorian PHN Immunisation Forum 2021 – Part 1

The Victorian PHNs  are  pleased to invite healthcare professionals to attend the inaugural Statewide PHN Immunisation Forum.

This two-part online Immunisation forum will provide updates on the National and Victorian Immunisation program, vaccine catch-up doses, and the COVID-19 vaccination program, including addressing vaccine hesitancy, needle distress and medicolegal considerations.

There will be two sessions run over the following dates: (you may register for one or both of the sessions)

Session 1: Thursday 11 November 2021, 6:30pm – 8:00pm

Session 2: Thursday 18 November 2021, 6:30pm – 8:00pm


  • Topics and Speakers Session 1: 11 November
    • COVID-19 vaccine program update & addressing vaccine hesitancy in primary care

    • Vaccine Catch-up doses and dealing with needle distress

    • Updates on the COVID-19 vaccination program in Victoria
    • Practical tips for understanding and addressing vaccine hesitancy and needle distress in patients
    • Updates on the principles of performing catch-up immunisations
