Catch-up immunisation for adults, children and refugee populations

General Practitioners and Practice Nurses are invited to join us for this immunisation catch-up session, in collaboration with VTPHNA, SEMPHN, NWMPHN, City of Greater Dandenong and Cancer Council Victoria.

This interactive session will cover:

  • How to develop a catch-up immunisation schedule.
  • Available resources to support catch-up schedule development, for Australian-born and humanitarian-entrant patients of any age.
  • Updates on the national and Victorian immunisation programs.
  • Recent changes in refugee health immunisation and HPV vaccination programs.
  • Resources available to support patient conversations around vaccination and HPV.
  • How you can support upcoming Cancer Council Victoria HPV activities.
Learning Outcomes

By the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Outline the steps in the development of a catch-up schedule
  • Describe special considerations for refugee health immunisation catch-up
  • Identify which resources should be used to develop a catch-up schedule.
  • Identify patients who are eligible for HPV vaccination
  • Explain how to upload and view patient immunisation information on MyHR
