DESCRIPTION:Event description This three-week online workshop series is purpose-built for General Practitioners and prescribing clinicians in Victoria who are seeking to expand their knowledge and confidence in trans and gender diverse (TGD) primary care.Registration includes all three workshop times:1. Monday 17th November, 6.30 - 8.30 pm2. Monday 24th November, 6.30 - 8.30 pm3. Monday 1st December, 6.30 - 8.30 pm Co-designed and delivered by leading GPs and TGD health professionals, this CPD-accredited program aims to strengthen clinical capability, improve access, and support better health outcomes for TGD communities across Victoria. What the course covers: Gender-affirming hormone therapy Affirmative practice and clinical logistics Surgical options & referral pathways Mental health referral and support Medicare considerations Building and sustaining a community of practice Case-based and interactive learning This course is made free of charge due to targeted funding and is available exclusively to Victorian GPs and prescribing clinicians.
