Topic 4: Management of Pancreatic Enzyme Insufficiency (PEI) – what every GP should know. Topic 5: Management of constipation and the brain-gut axis – what every GP should know. Topic 6: Bowel cancer in young people. Topic 7: Drug induced liver injury and the interpretation of abnormal liver tests. Topic 8: Intestinal metaplasia and Barrett’s oesophagus. Topic 9: Management of Crohn’s disease – what every GP should know. Learning objectives Topic 1: a.) Identify patients at high-risk of pancreatic cancer, and b.) explain treatment pathways that patients with pancreatic cancer may undergo. Topic 2: Outline the role of GPs in supporting patients through and beyond a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Topic 3: a.) Identify signs of long-term PPI use and b.) explain appropriate management in the primary care setting.
