Bairnsdale Medical Group
Bairnsdale Medical Group is a well established clinic originally situated in Riverine Street overlooking the Mitchell River. In 1997, the owners of the practice recognised that demand for their services had far outstripped the accommodation they could provide. A decision was made to relocate to a suitable alternative site.
A parcel of land close to the local hospital and the ambulance station was chosen to build a new state of the art clinic. This would cater for the medical needs of the community, whilst still maintaining a caring and friendly environment.
The clinic was built using a similar design to the characteristic building in Riverine Street. It has since provided a comprehensive medical service to generations of Bairnsdale and district families.
Clinic Expansion
In 2012, the building was once again expanded to provide a larger nursing and procedural area. This allowed the doctors to provide greater flexibility in delivering procedural and acute nursing work.
The dedicated doctors, nursing and administrative team are confident that with the extensive resources now in place, Bairnsdale Medical Group will be able to provide continuous improvement to suit the needs of established and new families.
