Services include HACC services, General Home Care, Personal Care, In Home Respite, Meals on Wheels, Home Maintenance, Planned Activity Groups, Supporting Carers Programs, and We Care – Friendly Visiting Program.
We give priority to people who need the service most, such as frail aged people, people with disabilities and carers of these people.
You can refer yourself or a friend or a relative for the services. A GP referral is not required.
For more information or to get involved please contact a friendly member of the Aged and Disability Services team.
Early Years Participation Officer
The Council has an Early Years Participation Officer in its Family Services, Early Childhood Health and Development team. It aims to support the community by creating connections to increase participation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families into early years services, focusing on maternal and child health and preschool.
