LRH offers a suite of medical and specialty services for a population of more than 260,000 in the Gippsland region in southeast Victoria. It provides emergency care, elective surgery, maternity, aged care, rehabilitation, pharmacy and mental health services both at the hospital and at sites across the Gippsland region. Medical and radiation oncology is provided by the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre at LRH.
Koori Liaison Officer
LRH provides a Koori Liaison Officer to assist Aboriginal community members to access services at the hospital. Latrobe Regional Hospital ensures that patients are linked to the Aboriginal Health Service and other local health providers, ensuring total health care to the Indigenous population.
