Monash University Department of Forensic Medicine is proud to present its FREE CPD Unit 2 Training Responding
to Sexual Violence in Adults.

  • informed consent and capacity to consent;
  • privacy and confidentiality;
  • medical care;
  • forensic principles, documentation, reporting and referrals.

Core to this content is an exploration of key communication skills to support trauma-informed and patient-centered responses. This
unit references the WHO’s LIVES Framework for responding to and caring for individuals subject to sexual violence and the
RACGP’s Eight Steps to Intervention (The 8Rs).

This training is open to all AHPRA registered healthcare professionals.
