Integrated Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Plan
This is a requirement under the Fifth National Mental Health and Suicide Plan requirement. Primary Health Networks and Local Health Networks are equal partners.
Objectives:
The Gippsland-Regional-Mental-Health-and-Suicide-Prevention-Foundational-Plan-2019-2022-signed was completed in June 2020 and signed off by Latrobe Regional Hospital and Gippsland PHN Chief Executive Officers and Chairs. The Regional-Mental-Health-and-Suicide-Prevention-Planonapage_A4 sets out key principes to guide comprehensive planning.
Mental Health Reform
A bilateral Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Agreement between the Commonwealth and Victoria was signed off in 2022 and sets out a shared commitment to working together to improve mental health and wellbeing. Victorian Mental health and wellbeing reform.
