Gippsland Primary Health Network will soon be seeking providers to deliver after-hours services to Gippsland communities with a pre-procurement online information session planned on Tuesday 4 October 2022 at 10am.
Innovative approaches to service delivery will be encouraged, which may include both in-reach and outreach services or telehealth services to reduce the burden on hospital Emergency Department presentations during the after-hours period.
An increasing need for after-hours services to Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs) has been identified and proposals that include an outreach service to RACFs or address this particular need are encouraged.
The service delivery is from 1 February 2023 to 31 December 2023 with the public tender scheduled for release in mid-October 2022.
