A new program allowing patients to be monitored from the comfort of their own home is being used in Far East Gippsland.
DigitalCare@Home is a joint venture between Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Victoria and Gippsland Primary Health Network (Gippsland PHN). It supports participating health services to monitor their patients and catch signs of deterioration early, before the patient’s situation becomes urgent.
This new digital software platform from Gippsland PHN, called Lifeguard, allows health professionals to monitor their patients in real-time while they remain in the comfort of their own homes.
