Winter Preparedness Plan to support GPs

Given the ongoing levels of COVID-19 in Gippsland and the likelihood of COVID-19 case transmission continuing through 2022, Gippsland PHN has developed a 2022 Winter Preparedness Plan to ensure Gippsland is prepared to manage both COVID-19 and influenza.

The winter plan aims to support people in the Gippsland community to stay well and safely manage COVID-19 and Influenza at home during winter and is supported by a new grant program available for general practices.

The One Good Community Digitally Enabled Winter Preparedness grant will enable 27 general practices to prepare and support at-risk patients through the use of digital health tools such as Remote Patient Monitoring, Telehealth and ePrescribing.

Expressing interest is as easy as registering your practice name and best time to contact you. You can do it by clicking here and a member of the Gippsland PHN team will be in contact to walk you through the grant.
