Share Your Ideas

Gippsland PHN is holding a series of online events to encourage people to contribute their ideas, recommendations and priorities for meeting the aims of the Primary Mental Health Care and Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Commissioning Strategy and services for 2022/2023.

Service providers and stakeholders

Gippsland PHN invites service providers and stakeholders to attend one of the online events to contribute their ideas, recommendations and priorities for meeting the aims of the Primary Mental Health Care and Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Commissioning Strategy.

The aim of the commissioning strategy is to ensure Gippsland PHN is commissioning services which effectively meet the current needs of the Gippsland community. Stakeholder consultation is a key component informing the tender specification process, so please codesign with us and get involved.

Explore ways to address issues such as:

  • service navigation, service coordination, primary mental health / AOD integration, outcomes-based measures, innovative service delivery models, improved consumer experience, partnerships, new access models, digital health.

While the sessions have a key focus of primary mental health care or alcohol and other drugs, we will be exploring opportunities to strengthen integration of the two types of supports at all events.

We encourage participation of stakeholders at all levels, including leadership, clinicians and workers.

The sessions will be facilitated by external consultants.

Consumers and people with lived experience

Gippsland Primary Health Network (PHN) invests in local mental health care services and drug/alcohol supports.

Gippsland PHN invites consumers and people with lived experience to attend one of the online events which are facilitated by people with lived experience, to contribute their ideas, recommendations and priorities for improved Primary Mental Health Care and Alcohol and Other Drug supports.

We are planning services for 2022/2023 and would like community members to be part of the process.

Help us make better decisions about the types of services needed to meet your needs.

  • How can we make services easier to find or easier to access?
  • What are your expectations when you use a service?
  • How can we improve your experience of using a service?
  • How can we make sure there are services available at all stages of your wellbeing or recovery journey?
  • How can we encourage services to work together?

We look forward to hearing your ideas and recommendations.

  • Thursday 23 September, 4pm-5.30pm, zoom
  • Wednesday 29 September, 12pm-1.30pm, zoom
