Gippsland Primary Health Network is reaching out to people interested in helping shape the future of primary healthcare in Gippsland.
In a new membership campaign, Gippsland PHN is asking healthcare professionals or organisations who deliver services to apply for free membership valid until the 2026 Annual General Meeting.
Gippsland PHN Chief Executive Officer, Amanda Proposch, said successful companies have strong leadership and good governance.
“The role of a member may seem small but in terms of responsibility, it is vital,” Ms Proposch said.
“Our members participate in the decision-making process by taking part in electing Directors and voting on the Board’s remuneration. They also approve our constitution and external auditors.
“Gippsland PHN members will ensure that the selection of our Directors, our processes and decision making, and our Constitution, continue to reflect an organisation that is committed to improving health outcomes in Gippsland.”
Members are invited to attend the organisation’s Annual General Meeting, held in November each year in conjunction with the Gippsland Primary Health Awards.
If you’re interested in becoming a Gippsland PHN member, you are welcome to apply by completing a short online application form at https://gphn.org.au/about-us/membership/
