2 day ADVANCED Wound Management Course – Regional Wounds Victoria Gippsland

This program is presented by the Regional Wounds Victoria Wound Management Clinical Nurse Consultants. It is aimed at experienced nurses who want to advance their skills in clinical assessment, compression therapy and wound debridement This is a very interactive and hands on workshop.

Wound Bed Preparation and assessment
Factors affecting healing
Identification and management of wound infection
Wound product dressing selection
Management of chronic oedema
Neurovascular assessment of the lower limb
Nursing management of diabetic foot ulcers
Interpretation of Doppler sounds and waveforms
Screening and referral to interdisciplinary team
