Maffra Medical Group is looking forward to receiving its energy assessment report, after obtaining a grant from Gippsland PHN.
Gippsland PHN is offering grants of up to $1,000 to 22 general practices to undertake an energy assessment to measure their climate impacts and facilitate positive steps toward climate change mitigation.
Practice Business Manager at Maffra Medical Group, Kylie Nair, said the practice was committed to reducing its carbon footprint and had been investigating initiatives over the last few years.
“The grant opportunity came at a great time as the practice is committed to ‘going greener’ because of the broader impact on the health of our environment and our community,” Kylie said.
