Gippsland PHN works alongside the Victorian Department of Health and the Commonwealth Department of Health, Disability and Ageing to coordinate a strong and effective local primary healthcare response during an emergency situation, such as a bushfire or a flood.
As part of this work, Gippsland PHN maintains an emergency volunteer register. This list includes details of local professionals able to staff primary care field clinics or act as temporary workforce during a disaster, as well as clinics/pharmacies able to scale up services if required.
Interested health professionals or clinics can join the Gippsland PHN Emergency Volunteer Register by completing the form below.
Disclaimer: By providing your details, you are consenting to Gippsland PHN sharing your details with relevant government organisations, if required, and who may require more information and credentials from you. Registering your interest does not automatically guarantee you will be called on to volunteer in an emergency situation, but registering is the best way to get involved.
