This practical follow-up session builds on prior sessions by supporting general practices to begin reviewing and updating their My Health Record Security and Access Policy.
Participants will work through the key components of the Rule 21 (2026) policy requirements, discuss practical examples of policy implementation, common considerations for practice workflows, and where to access supporting resources. The session is designed to help practices leave with a clear understanding of the actions required to update and maintain their policy.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
•Distinguish mandatory, optional and explanatory content
•Identify the operational documents and records for organisation needs
•Leave with a practical list of drafting and follow-up actions
