EOI Opportunity – Inclusive and Trauma Informed Eating Disorder Training for Dietitians in Gippsland

Gippsland Primary Health Network (Gippsland PHN) invites Gippsland-based Dietitians to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in Inclusive and Trauma Informed Eating Disorder Training for Dietitians.

This training aims to increase and upskill Dietitians so that they can work confidently with people experiencing eating disorders.

Dietitians practicing across Gippsland are invited to nominate to undertake this training opportunity to support their clinical practice and skills.

Successful applicants will undertake:

This course is designed to prepare dieticians to work more safely, confidently and ethically with clients presenting with a range of disordered eating presentations, elevating knowledge, insights and skills. The course content is committed to weight inclusivity and trauma-informed care, and this course will be firmly dedicated to upholding these principles from screening to treatment and beyond.

This course will be 100% go-at-your-own-pace online recordings and will incorporate pre-recorded materials and recorded live training.

The sequence of learning will be:

Pre-recorded Online Modules: Go at students own pace online, approximately 15 hours

Recorded Live training: Total 15 hours

EOI Closing Date – Friday 9 June 2023

Applicant Outcome Notification – Friday 16 June 2023

Successful applicants need to enrol into the training by – 30 June 2023

Successful applicants need to complete the training by – 31 December 2023
