Bushfire Counselling

The aim of the bushfire counselling program, delivered in partnership by the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) and Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), is to provide 10 free evidence-based counselling sessions to individuals and/or families who have been impacted by the 2019-20 bushfires in East Gippsland.

Services are provided either face-to-face (in Bushfire Recovery Hubs or Quantum Bairnsdale) or via a secure telehealth platform to improve accessibility.

Child (0 – 11 years) counselling is also available in this program in collaboration with a telehealth paediatrician, where appropriate.
