You are warmly invited to the launch of NEDC’s Holding Hope Guide and Workbook Series, authored by Shannon Calvert.
This vital new collection of resources are designed to support people experiencing a longstanding eating disorder, their families and supports, and those clinicians and services that support those that are navigating the complex and often challenging space of longstanding eating disorders.
This vital new collection of resources is designed to support:
- People experiencing longstanding eating disorders,
- Their families and support networks,
- Clinicians and services navigating the complexities of severe and enduring eating disorders.
Building on the foundational insights of the Holding Hope Discussion Paper, the Guide and Workbooks translate recommendations into compassionate, practical tools for care and collaboration.
At this launch event, you’ll gain insight into how the Holding Hope Guide and Workbook Series supports ethical, person-centered responses across the stepped system of care. You’ll hear directly from author Shannon Calvert and a panel of experts, including those with lived experience, as they share reflections and practical applications of the Guide.
This event is especially relevant for professionals working in mental health, primary care, and community services, as well as carers, families, and support networks. NEDC also warmly welcomes those with lived and living experience, whose voices and perspectives are central to shaping meaningful and respectful responses.
Join NEDC as we come together to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and hold hope for those affected by longstanding eating disorders.
