About the Workshop
This one-day online workshop will provide guidance on what to look for, including strengths and limitations in
qualitative studies, cohort studies, case-control studies, randomised controlled trials and systematic reviews.

With the huge volume of papers published on various topics and the trend of patients turning to “Doctor
Google” and social media, many health professionals would like to feel more confident that they can access
the best information for their clinical needs.

Who Should Participate?
The example studies for discussion will primarily focus
on maternity and newborn care, as well as women’s
health.
The course is likely to be of particular interest to
Obstetricians, Obstetric Physicians, GPs, Midwives,
Paediatricians, Neonatal Nurses, Maternal and Child
Health Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and
Researchers. However, the content will also be relevant
and beneficial to participants from a broad range of
healthcare backgrounds.
