Dr Aaron Wong (MBBS BMEDSCI FRACP FACHPM) Aaron is a Palliative Medicine Physician and Consultant Geriatrician. He is the Clinical Director of Supportive and Palliative Care at Eastern Health and holds honorary appointments as a Senior Lecturer at both the University of Melbourne and Monash University.
Aaron has held a range of service leadership roles across geriatric and palliative care settings. He is also an Asia Pacific Hospice Network Cynthia Goh Palliative Care Fellow, participating in a leadership network dedicated to strengthening and expanding palliative care throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Committed to providing holistic and compassionate care for older people, Aaron currently leads the ENRICH-PC Research Network. His interdisciplinary research and education interests include dementia care, delirium, quality use of medicines, innovative models of care, cancer pain and symptom management, digital health tools, and end-of-life care.
Dr Jacinta Lopez MBBS (Hons), FRACP, FAChPM is a Melbourne-based Palliative Medicine Physician and Consultant Geriatrician. She works across Eastern Health, Mercy Palliative Care, and Geriatric Medicine.
A strong advocate for compassionate, values-based care and the principle of dignity of risk, Jacinta has a particular interest in innovative models of care that support people to remain at home. Her areas of focus include hospital-based community programs and the delivery of integrated, person-centred care that promotes independence, choice, and quality of life.
