Navigating MyMedicare – A guide for general practice and aboriginal medical services

Wendy has a long and diverse history in general practice, spanning 23 years, beginning in a small 3 GP practice in 2000, before moving to her current role as practice manager in a 22 doctor general practice in Gisborne, Victoria in 2010.​

She has worked in all aspects of general practice as a receptionist, practice nurse and practice manager, and has a strong, comprehensive understanding of all facets of general practice.​ She currently manages 15 reception/admin staff, and 5 chronic disease nurses, and 20 GP’s and is responsible for IT, daily operations and induction and mentoring of new GP’s and medical students, along with accreditation preparation for general practices
