Gippsland Primary Health Network is seeking Lived Experience Community Representatives to join the Gippsland Supporting Recovery Expert Advisory Group.

Are you a victim-survivor of family, domestic and/or sexual violence with lived experience of accessing mental health services?

About the Program

Gippsland PHN is delivering the Supporting Recovery Program to support victim-survivors of family, domestic and sexual violence to be mentally healthy in order to recover from trauma.

The program is based on the National Plan to end violence against women and children. This is a 10- year plan that aims to end family, domestic and sexual violence within one generation.

Under the program, victim-survivors of family, domestic and sexual violence living in Latrobe or Baw Baw can access care coordination and trauma-informed mental health services to support their recovery journey.

The program operates under a national model of care and Gippsland PHN established an Expert Advisory Group to make sure that local needs are met. The group meets regularly and includes local service providers and stakeholders.

Gippsland PHN is now looking for two Gippsland-based Lived Experience Community Representatives to join the Expert Advisory Group.
