Pop-up vaccination clinic in Morwell a great success

A pop-up vaccination clinic was held at the Morwell Neighbourhood House yesterday, thanks to a partnership between the Gippsland Region Public Health Unit, the House and Gippsland Primary Health Network.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the pop-up vaccination clinic yesterday a great success. A special thank you to the people of Morwell who turned out for their COVID-19 vaccinations, the Morwell Neighbourhood House staff and the Morwell Lions Club volunteers for their delicious sausage sizzle.

If you missed out yesterday, the pop-up vaccination clinic will be next door to the Carry On Café in Commercial Road, Morwell on Wednesday 3 November from 9.30am-1pm.

No appointment is required – just turn up on the day with your Medicare Card. If you don’t have a Medicare Card, please bring a form of personal identification like a driver’s licence, birth certificate, passport or student identification. Any children wishing to receive a vaccine will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The team will then return to administer second doses.

Make sure you get a free coffee while you are waiting.
