Gippsland PHN is proud to announce it has achieved Rainbow Tick Accreditation, marking an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and affirming environment for LGBTIQA+ communities.
The Rainbow Tick is a nationally recognised framework developed by Rainbow Health Australia and supports organisations to embed lasting inclusion across their systems, culture and processes. Gippsland PHN accreditation was completed with Quality Innovation Performance (QIP).
The accreditation reflects Gippsland PHN’s commitment to ensuring our workplace is welcoming and supportive of LGBTIQA+ people and enhances our ability to work alongside local service providers to consider inclusive practices and gender-affirming approaches across the region.
Gippsland PHN remains dedicated to fostering environments—both within our organisation and across the primary care sector—where people of all backgrounds, sexualities, genders, cultures, spiritual beliefs, ages, bodies and abilities are respected, valued and celebrated.
