Trans Day of Remembrance on Sunday 20 November 2022 is annual observance that honours the memory of the trans lives lost of acts of transphobia and discrimination.
It’s a day of gathering, togetherness and community solidarity.
It comes at the end of Trans Awareness Week (13-19 November), a week to celebrate and support trans and gender diverse people.
There’s no doubt that being gender diverse has an impact on a person’s mental health. This week, which encourages non-gender diverse people to take time out to show allyship, can make a big difference.
