New Interactive Map to Support Climate Resilience in Gippsland Communities

Gippsland Primary Health Network (Gippsland PHN) has launched a first-of-its-kind interactive map identifying the region’s most climate-vulnerable communities—marking a major milestone in local efforts to strengthen emergency planning and climate resilience.

The Gippsland Geospatial Climate Vulnerability and Risk Map is a key output of the Preparing Gippsland Communities Project, a regional initiative responding to the rising health risks associated with climate change, including bushfires, floods, and extreme heat events.

Local Government Area 2025 Health Snapshots now available

Gippsland Primary Health Network (Gippsland PHN) has released its Local Government Area (LGA) 2025 Snapshots, offering a detailed look at health and wellbeing across the region. The snapshots provide tailored summaries for each of Gippsland’s six LGAs – Bass Coast, Baw Baw, East Gippsland, Latrobe, South Gippsland, and Wellington. A Gippsland-wide Community Snapshot has also been released.

Latest insight papers highlight Gippsland’s primary care access and healthy ageing challenges

Gippsland Primary Health Network (Gippsland PHN) has released two new Health Insights papers: Primary Care Access and Healthy Ageing (People Aged 65+).


Drawing on regional data and the lived experience of Gippsland residents, the papers provide a comprehensive overview of factors that impact people’s ability to access primary care, and the health and wellbeing of people aged 65 and over.
