AI tools are becoming more common in general practice, including in prescribing workflows like PBS authority approvals, and are increasingly discussed by regulators and medical defence organisations. It’s reasonable for clinicians to approach these tools with caution.
The session will explore privacy and data-handling considerations relevant to Australian general practice, as well as key medico-legal and governance concerns associated with AI tools. Participants will also explore strategies for identifying and removing potential risks, helping practices approach AI adoption with a considered and informed mindset.

This session is educational in nature and is intended to support informed decision-making by clinicians. A recording will be provided to all registrants.
