Help shape a measurably healthier Gippsland – Board Director EOIs now open

Gippsland Primary Health Network (Gippsland PHN) is seeking expressions of interest for three upcoming Board vacancies commencing in November 2026.

The vacancies include two elected Director positions and one appointed Director position.

Gippsland PHN is seeking strategic, community-focused and values-driven leaders who can contribute to improving health outcomes across Gippsland and support strong governance in a complex and evolving health system.

Gippsland PHN’s vision is for a measurably healthier Gippsland. The organisation works to improve health outcomes across the region, particularly for priority populations and people at risk of the poorest health outcomes.

Board Directors play an important role in guiding Gippsland PHN’s strategic direction and supporting strong governance. Directors are also responsible for ensuring governance and oversight of Gippsland PHN’s legal and financial accountability, statutory obligations and compliance with funding deed requirements.

Skills and experience of interest include:

• Digital and data governance
• Commissioning and system design
• Commercial and financial acumen
• Primary care clinical expertise and/or health system knowledge

Gippsland PHN welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds and is committed to a Board that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.

Successful candidates will be required to have a director ID, or be in the process of obtaining one, and undergo background checks, including criminal history checks.
