COVID-19 update for Gippsland – 1 October 2021

Currently in Gippsland there are 47 active cases of COVID-19 including 28 in Latrobe City, nine in Baw Baw, five in Bass Coast, four in South Gippsland and one in Wellington.

Of the 47 active COVID-19 cases in Gippsland, 34 are linked to known outbreaks.

If you have any symptoms, no matter how mild or have been directed to get tested by the Victorian Department of Health, book at one of our six Gippsland Respiratory Clinics at Morwell, Warragul, Wonthaggi, Foster, Sale and Bairnsdale by clicking here. Book the first available appointment, stay at home until you have your test and then stay at home until you get the result.

Other Gippsland testing locations include:

Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium drive through, Ashby St, Traralgon, 9am – 4pm Saturday and Sunday. No appointments required.

LCHS – Senior Citizens Centre, Moe – Walk-up, no appointments necessary. 10am – 2pm Sunday.

Morwell East Football Netball Ground drive through. No appointments required. Currently operating and closing time today will be determined by demand and weather conditions. 9am – 4pm Saturday and Sunday.

West Gippsland Healthcare Group (WGHG) drive-through testing clinic, Lardner Park if there is demand.

Cowes drive through at Bass Coast Health 9am – 3pm weekdays.

Wonthaggi Hospital drive through at Bass Coast Health 9am – 3pm weekdays.

Gippsland Southern Health Service (Leongatha) drive through. 9am – 3.30pm Wednesday and Thursday. Appointments required, for bookings contact 5654 2777.

Yarram and district Health Service 10am – 12pm, Monday to Saturday.
