Demand for testing in Gippsland increases – please be patient

More than 1900 people get tested for COVID in Gippsland over three days from Friday 22 October to Sunday 24 October.

Because of rising numbers, there is a huge demand at testing sites across Gippsland and people are asked to be patient, stay at home until you get your test and then stay at home until you receive your test result, always following the Victorian Department of Health instructions. Remember, you only need a COVID test if you are:

  • experiencing symptoms
  • have visited a Tier 1 Exposure Site within the specified times
  • have been directed to do so by the Department of Health
