New guide to help general practices register with Provider Connect Australia

The Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) has developed a simple step-by-step guide to help general practices register with Provider Connect Australia (PCA), a national platform that makes it easier for health care providers to maintain accurate business and practitioner information.

Through its collaboration with the ADHA, Gippsland PHN has already worked with many practices across the region to better understand their needs and support their PCA registration journey. This new guide provides an additional resource to help practices register with confidence and make the most of the platform’s benefits.

Why register with PCA?

Registering with PCA can help your practice:

  • Reduce administrative duplication by updating information once instead of across multiple systems
  • Support improved connectivity with health care directories, and secure messaging with providers and partner organisations
  • Support more efficient communication and coordination across the health care sector

Need support getting started?

General practices can access the ADHA’s PCA registration guide. When you register, please select Gippsland PHN as one of your business partners.

For additional support with PCA, contact ADHA at pca@digitalhealth.gov.au.
