Addressing this growing concern, Gippsland PHN has engaged Resolution Education to offer a specialised De-escalation & OVA Training program. This training is meticulously crafted to equip your team with the vital skills necessary to manage confrontational situations in the workplace effectively. Tailored to the needs of Gippsland practices, with a focus specifically on working in both remote and Indigenous Communities.
This interactive training course provides participants with a comprehensive toolkit of essential abilities. Attendees will gain expertise in recognising and responding appropriately to individuals displaying hostility or agitation in various scenarios.
The aim is to instil participants with the confidence and proficiency to de-escalate tense or potentially violent situations, fostering an environment conducive to positive and harmonious communication.
