We congratulate Therese Tierney on being re-appointed as Gippsland PHN Board Chair. This will be Therese’s fourth consecutive year in the role.
We also congratulate, Board member, Nathan Voll, appointed as Deputy Chair.
Therese has more than 45 years’ experience in the health sector and served in executive, CEO and Board roles in the last 20 years. While Therese has primarily worked in the health sector, she has also had significant involvement in local government as both a Councillor and General Manager. Therese has extensive governance experience and in addition to her role with Gippsland PHN is currently the Chair of East Gippsland Water, Maryvale Private Hospital, the Gippsland Regional Partnership and Deputy Chair of VicWater. Therese is a consultant providing strategic and innovative solutions and support for challenges with governance, business, change management, people and systems thinking.
Nathan was appointed on the Gippsland PHN Board in November 2021. He was an independent member of the Gippsland PHN Audit, Risk and Finance Committee prior to being appointed as Director, and is currently the Regional Finance Manager – South Eastern Victoria Region – Department of Education and Training. He has considerable experience in the healthcare sector, both private and public.
