World Mental Health Day – 10 October

Today we celebrate World Mental Health Day with the theme ‘Mental Health is a Universal Human Right’. Good mental health is vital to our overall health and wellbeing, yet one in eight people globally are living with mental health conditions. Mental health conditions are also affecting an increasing number of adolescents and young people.

In Gippsland, 37% of adults have ever been diagnosed with anxiety or depression, higher than in Victoria at 32%. You can read more about mental health in Gippsland here https://gphn.org.au/resources/
